TOLEDO, Ohio — Ahead of excessive heat and humidity late Wednesday and into Thursday, in addition to overnight storms causing flooding, several institutions have canceled or changed the times of events. Event organizers and officials have let us know about the following cancellations:

Bowling Green vs. Sylvania Junior High football game - CANCELED

St. John's Jesuit Academy Football games (home and away) - CANCELED

Springfield vs. Napoleon girls soccer - CANCELED

Perrysburg vs. Anthony Wayne girls soccer (junior varsity and varsity) - CANCELED

Gesu School - CLOSED (First day of school delayed until Friday)

Tiffin City Schools - CLOSED *Students who attend Vanguard-Sentinel can still be transported to the career centers by getting on their regularly scheduled shuttle bus from Columbian High School

Toledo Preparatory Academy - CLOSED

Upper Sandusky Schools - CLOSED

Bash on the Bay - POSTPONED *The Ottawa County EMA said Thursday's show is postponed due to "unprecedented storm damage and flooding". Refunds and rescheduling announcements will be made next week.

Detroit Metro Airport - FAA ISSUES GROUND STOP, MCNAMARA TERMINAL INACCESSIBLE *Travelers with scheduled flights should contact their airlines, according to a DTW Facebook post.

City of Toledo Let's Get Moving event - CANCELED

University of Toledo women's soccer vs. Loyola - POSTPONED to Friday at 11 a.m.

Toledo Christian Schools golf, tennis and soccer - CANCELED

Springfield High School - All outside activities after 3 p.m. CANCELED * Some sports may be moving inside and coaches will alert players and families of changes

Findlay City School District - The following games are POSTPONED and will be rescheduled at a later date: girls tennis, junior varsity boys soccer, freshman football

Marblehead Lions Perch Festival - CANCELED due to storm damage
