When we think of sequins, Christmas and the festive party season jump to mind. However, when you see how good a golden number glistens in the heat of the day, you’ll quickly add those sequins to your summer fashion staples.

Zara and H&M are bursting with sparkly pieces, while Mango has added some seriously designer-esque dresses to their luxe Capsule collection. If you’re after a touch of the festival feel, like a sequin mini, then Abercrombie & Fitch is your go-to.

When it comes to beach chic, this year, we’re seeing plenty of glam, from lacey cover-ups sprinkled with subtle embellishments to wide-brimmed hats encrusted with jewels and shiny decorations. The label Monday Swimwear is a must for fiercely fancy beachwear. Meanwhile, Anthropologie has some utterly gorgeous midi dresses, skirts, and sheer slips, all of which will shimmer in the sun.

For those balmy evenings, Reiss, Sister Jane, and Oseree definitely have you covered. Oh, and if you’d prefer a little colour over the standard metallics, Abercrombie has once again stepped up with the cutest lemon-coloured sequin dress—a certain head-turner.
